Default The "Firm"..... Input Needed!

I have a Skunk2 Coil Over/KYB AGX setup, question I have to all you 4th Genners is how do you have your AGX numbering setup? I'm running 2 in the front and 3 in the back, just wanted to see kinda what everyone else is happy with. I want a setup that would give me of course a neutral setup but oversteer would be welcomed as well, hehe. Let me know guys!

There are some really great books available out there on suspension setup. you need to understand how weight transfers across the vehicle and alot of other stuff before you can really dial in your suspension. It also depends on were you are running, what kind of tires you have... my god man the possibilities are endless.

As for some oversteer being welcome... ummm set the fronts to one, the rears to 4 take out your front anti-sway bar, buy the biggest baddest one you can find for the rear and then... settle for moderate understeer because you drive a FWD and oversteer just isn't an option.

WRONG!

Put the rear's at a notch or two stiffer than the front, and go out and test it out.

Do not take off your front sway bar. Just buy a bigger rear and put it on; it will give you all the oversteer you need.

just to add to the above...add in a rear tie bar, rear upper strut bar, and weld a piece of stainless across the spare tire well.

everyday driving, but I have Ground Controls.

You should set your shocks to match the stiffness of your springs. i.e. you should find out what the recommended spring rate limits your shocks can handle and adjust accordingly.

I have koni yellows. Koni recommends no springs higher than 350-400 so I bought 325 front 350 rear. I run 1/8th of a turn back from full stiff on my rear and a 1/4 turn back from full firm in the front (fully adjustable )

Thanks for all the input. I'm aware of my car being FWD but I do know that with the right setup, that back end will easily come around. We the STOCK setup I had times of getting that bad boy sideways. I've heard the same thing about adding a stiffer sway bar in the rear as well as leaving the stock one of front, tower bars front and rear sound like a plan too. As for setup, I'm all up for the autox config, I've run a few autox events in the STS class (with a stock setup) but I was just mostly curious on what other 4th genners were running and happy with. How does the 2/4 setup work for you guys that are running it? Does the back kick like no other when you hit bumps?
