Starting Problem Pt. 2
You guys helped me out last time... I bought an 85 Honda VF500 as a beginner bike and had a bad idle, found the idle adustment screw and fixed it. I finally took an MSF course and Im takin my license test today. so I go out to my bike and I turn it on but it shuts off when i turn the throttle. It kept on doing it and i kept on messin with the Idle screw. Now it barley starts. I was thinkin the carbs, any ideas? I really want to ride.
Thanks,
Nate

I'll take a stab at it...
Has it been sitting for a long time? Me's thinkin the carbs might be all varnished up from being put away for a winter and not having the fuel being treated with stabilzer.
