San Diego ride
5-20-06. meet at oggi's pizza and brewing company at the north county fair mall in escondido. still need to decide on a time and designate somebody to call oggi's so we can all sit together. leave a message if you're going so we can get a ruff estimate on how many are gonna go. here is a pic cause i felt like putting one.

ah ****. I just got a commitment from 9-5 on that saturday, so I can go for dinner, i can leave a little early...but the school i go to is having this workshop by this guy i really need to meet and talk to, it would be detrimental to my future to miss it.... so if things go past 5, or start around 5, then i am in.

first we eat then we ride. as far as the route im not 100% sure but we'll be goin somewhere in the back mountains of escondido/ramona area.
11am sat may 20, its decided. ill call and get a table on the patio, the restraunt is on the other side of the mall if you come in the front entrance and we'll be on the patio so you'll see us. see everyone there

Ah cool. I just went on a ride yesterday heh. Old Julian to Dudleys, then into Julian, down Banner, out to Borrego, then came back. No cops and no tickets

last year i had a business trip to VA beach. my hotel was right there on the beach. there was a TIGHT *** caravan of bikes riding through at like 8am. it must've been like 2000 bikes. it took about 40 minutes for everyone to ride past my hotel. it'd be tight if we got a turnout anywhere near that.

How did they motivate 2000 people to wake up for a 8am ride? dont get me wrong i love riding as much as the next guy but 8am? haha. good thing im in college, i think the real world is gonna own me. 8am....wow.

thats about right, i made it to irvine in about 45 min when there was no traffic.
