Re: Rossi's new lid anyone? (Quiks66)
Got a good laugh when I saw him wear that for the first time. Although if I was going to purchase a Rossi helmet I'd have to go with the one he wore at Qartar:

I want to find a Dovi replica, but haven't had any luck so far. Vemar distrubution sucks this side of the pond.

Re: (Starscream)
id get one if i could have Gilbert Godfree's face on it instead. then id slap a loud annoying d&d pipe on a peaky i4 and sightings would go something like this:
bike: "AAAAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAAH!"
bystander1: "what the hell is that screaming towards us?"
bystander2: "....gilbert godfree...."

i forget the reasoning behind it, but he gets a different design for certain tracks. very few go into mass/limited production.

IIRC, he gets a special design in Mugello. This year he also had a special design of his lid, suit and bike as an tribute and support for the Italian soccer team (The Azzurri) in the Eurocup 2008:
And then in Misano he showed up with a new design, supposedly based on his childhood house, seeing as Misano is his true "home" race (His childhood home is near to the track):

Via Google:
499.99 British pounds = 862.582748 U.S. dollars
But this one from Motegi is serious win:
