I keep it in my jacket. Somebody makes off with your bike, it'll be that much easier to steal your idenity and with the registration card they might be able to get the title, if you keep it under the seat. Keep it on you.
Are you guys that keep it on the bike at least making a copy of it and putting the copy in there? Then keep the original safe. I would think you would want to have one for your records, just in case anything happens.

My bike is never really anywhere alone where it could get stolen but everything is already sent with a copy.

Steal your identity? All that's on the card is your name and address and they can get that from the internet. The registration has absolutely no bearing on the title, especially since my title is in the safe at my house. If you have a lien on your bike and they want to pay it off to get the title, then by all means.

it's just registration, not much you can do with registration by itself?? i lost my wallet before while riding, it slipped out my back pocket from shifting one side to the other.. if i kept the registration in my wallet they'd have my i'd credit cards & registration... that'd be a different story.... if they took my bike all they get is my bike, registration & a ziploc bag , i guess either way i'm screwed but then again they can't do much without the pink which is in a safe, guarded by two pitbulls and my odd numbers... which is free for the taking

Your probably right, but why run the risk of making it a two for one deal? We always read about how criminals are opportunistic, sure I'll keep my stuff in my bike, so you can turn around and decide to get into id theft. I own my bike so I guess its not a problem, but I'll keep my info on me, thanks

I use a photocopy of my registration. Before copying it, I cover the address with a slip of paper so it doesn't show up in the copy. Does it matter? Probably not. Is it one of my insane, oddball ticks? Yep.
