Re: (guessinthe2000)
I'll be at Laguna this year (3rd year in a row) but I'm driving there instead since 90+ degrees and lugging gear around isnt too fun. Got 2 3-day passes, 2 paddock, and a perferred parking pass

where did you purchase the tickets? are they still available? I may consider driving to santa cruz/monterey for some laguna gp action!

Look on Laguna Seca's website. I've been looking on there trying to decide what all I should get. I'm pretty sure it will be at least the 3 day pass and a paddock pass. Not sure if I should get grandstand tickets or anything else extra. If I can actually make it, that is.

For those that have gone to Laguna, did any of you get grandstand tickets, camping tickets, or anything like that? It looks like the preferred motorcycle parking is sold out. I hope there are some other decent parking options.

random question but how do you think daijiro would be doing if he was still alive? i personally think he would be giving rossi a run for his money.

That's the notion among many others, too.

Hard to say, there are so many factors that go into success in Moto GP that I can't really say whether he would've turned into a legit contender. He certainly hadn't reached his potential in GP, that's for sure.

Yeah but it was funny. Reminds me of conspicuously bad funny photochops.

Re: (JMU R1)
I thought the commercial was funny too. It was supposed to be lame as hell, I mean did you see some of the facial expressions he made, he was purposefully trying to look like a dork.
Anyway, race wise its not looking good for the champ. People were taking it by him with ease.

Re: (Brian*E30)
Was that you Brian or was that Paul's team. Perfect score, pretty impressive. That was a mfn' long shot on Elias though I already used Lorenzo as my privateer and that stupid *** Barbera crashed out

Hehe yeah that was me. I'm really surprised no one took Rossi, maybe because there is no challenge to him. I think Elias has a lot of potential..... and keep an eye on Checa too, just needs to find good race pace with Stoners old team

Honestly the only reason I didn't choose Rossi was because Jerez is a home track for Pedrobot and with the relatively short straights and lots of braking I figured his weight would be an advantage. I was taking the chance that Dani would win this one but I have to wonder if he could really beat Rossi in a straight up dog fight. If Dani can get out front and control the race he can win but Rossi's racecraft is better.
CEII is a mixed bag. He definitely did a lot better job yesterday than he has in a long time. Hopper, Stoner, and Elias are kind of wildmen. Hopper and Stoner can be crashers and Elias really is a non factor in most races.
I also thought Checa would do better at his home grand prix but I'm going to have to write him off for a long while after that so-so performance. Then again maybe when his RCV gets updates he'll pull something out of his hat (or ***).
Did anyone catch the 250 race? It was mfn' awesome! Me, RJ and Ginger were cracking up when Lorenzo planted his flag in the ground then struck a dramatic pose:
For his first pose he just folded his arms and stuck out his chest like "WHAT!"

Lorenzo is kind of a Spanish Rossi. Both of them of goofballs but he's a bit more arrogant, but it still ends up being funny. I think he'd do well in GP but I don't know if he'd have the impact of a Pedrosa or Stoner. My guess is Yamaha will give CEII the boot and ****** him up. Or at least they'd be stupid not to.
