“Yamaha, Michelin, Valentino and I have all worked so hard and it’s really exciting to be up there together on the front row...although of course I would like to try to reverse the order tomorrow! Our bike is going so well so far this year, everywhere we go we’ve got a plan and it seems to work and the lap times are just amazing. It’s a great feeling. I love this track and the set-up we have seems to be spot-on, really we don’t have anything left to do tomorrow morning except double-check everything and make our final tyre choice. I’ve got a choice of two but honestly I’m not too worried, they both work well and I don’t think either will be the difference between winning and losing – Michelin seem to have it all under control for us! It’s going to be a matter of getting a good start and seeing how it goes. I think there’s a few that can run with us but our race pace is pretty good so I am confident I can be up there fighting!”

All I have to say is I feel sorry for my neighbors now that I got a BOSE system and subscription to SPEED!1! LOL This is going to be off the hook season!

Anyone else think the Honda's must be sandbagging it.....? Fastest Honda is in 4th and its Toni not even a factory rider... damn.

The time for sandbagging is looonnggg gone. Qualifying is the time to drop the hammer and it fell with a rather weak *tink*. I imagine Pedrobot and Elias will have a good chance in the race but I don't think they can catch the Yamahas, unless Elias's Bridgestones perform better in the late stages of the race. I think Stoner is going to be the toughest outside of Rossi and Edwards because he has won at Qatar before and the Ducati is great in straight line speed, which will aid in overtaking on the loooonnnggg front straight.

yeah no sandbagging here. I think the hondas will improve more then everyone else through the season so that everyone is pretty much on the same level at the end with the exception of top speed which always seems to go to ducati. In the 990cc era the 211v was the dominant bike and it's hard to argue that it wasn't the best bike of the era too

The Daytona races are from 8:00-2:00ish today....6hrs of superbikes should fix you up until tomorrow and is roughly equivalent to 45 min of pure GP.

Yeah that's gonna hold me over till tomorrow . Yes I think the races come on saturday but they show them on speed on sunday here in NC. I gotta keep my eyes and ears closed untill I watch it tomorrow. Don't none of you guys spoil it for me .
