Normal aperating temperature
Sorry for the noob questions, but I got a 2002 f4i from a friend last week and it didnt come with an owners manual but I'm getting one. Until then, I was curious what the bikes normal operating temperature should be. I noticed that while going down a back road yesterday going 25mph the temp. went up to 220 degrees> Back on a main road dong 55mph it went back down to 175

the fan on the f4i turns on at about 228, 229 degrees.
so basically, yeah it's fine. on a f4i 250 is where it starts getting urgent and you should start to worry.

I was gonna, but that was when the thread was first started, and I don't know squat about F4i's, so I figured since I didn't have anything constructive to offer I didn't wanna be a douche and just point that out.
