No garage? where do you keep your bike?
I am wondering where you guys without garages are keeping your bike. I have been thinking about building a shed or something, have any of you built your own shed? I keep mine on my back porch with a cover on it.
I wish i had a garage but this really is my only option that is practical. Sucks cause i have to do all my maintenance and work outside, i have done all my engine swaps and all work to my car outside.

I don't think he spent more than $500; bought a truckload of 2x4's, plywood, etc. Framed each side of the shed/garage then put it all together.

thats a good idea really, i don't know how much that costs you but its WAY cheaper than theft insurance... however i think my paranoia would make me buy theft coverage too...(theft coverage here is well over $1200 for a year)

i dont have a garage yet (going to get one built this summer) but i do have a driveway and my bedroom window is right next to it, so i just park it there with the alarm on. Bike is only like 4 feet away when im asleep.
I need to figure out how to turn down the sensitivity on the alarm tho, everytime the wind blows it chirps. Oh well, atleast i should catch anyone trying to steal it.

Buy a Kryptonite Noose. The way it works, it gives you a lot of slack to work with. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-YORK-K...wItem

$500 (USD) Anti-Theft Protection available in the USA and Canada
this sucks though. i would expect a new bike.

Yes, and comprehensive here is about $1200 a year depending on bike, my zx-7 was $900 and it was an old beast.

I was thinking yesterday how funny would it be if I picked up a hooker and when she asked me what I like, I would say "I actually picked you up to walk our dog".

uh... in the parking lot of course... I've had both my valve covers off in the parking lot and had the tank, airbox, and carbs off for about a week while I was waiting on parts
