MD scooter laws?
I'm looking to buy my buddy's 06' Ruckus for a smokin deal. I plan on using it at the track and just buzzing around the neighborhood. From what I read, since the Ruckus is under 50cc's, it doesn't need insurance/registration? Where am I allowed to ride it? Thanks.

For all vehicles under 50cc you do not need a special license, tags or insurane so YES it is good news
However, you cannot be on any public roads with the speed limit set higher than 45mph.
Reason i know this is cuz my buddy had a 50cc pocket bike, so yeah same concept.
PS what are you trying to do with a 50cc scooter on the track??

Ive seen plenty of ruckus owners track their wheels
Some people get pretty hardcore when it comes to modifying those things 0_0 engine swaps and all...
Edit: Here's a link to the TotalRuckus Garage

Lol, I don't think it'll exceed 45mph if I wanted to! I use it to get back and forth from the pit area to the staging lanes. SFWD cars are pitted aaall the way down past the traps and the walk during the summer heat is agonizing.
