What he's referring to is when your head is still in line with the bike, but the rest of your body is hanging off. The recommended body-position for most people would be to "kiss the mirrors," where your body and head are aligned when hanging off. It all comes down to personal preference, though. No one style works for every body. IIRC, Miguel Duhamel has a similar "crossed-up" riding style, while other racers, such as Aaron Yates, "kiss the mirrors."

ahh ok, gotcha thanks! yeah, i know my head positioning sucks ****! nothing a little practicing can't fix. thanks again.
