Service records and/or receipts for oil, filters, etc.
Warped rotors, leaky forks, dings/dents in the wheels, dings/dents in the plastics.
If none of those are seen, check to see if the bike seems to be clean. A bike that looks dirty on the outside probably means the owner did not spend enough time with the bike's insides, either.
