bingo. if you use machinery to pick up chicks, you suck.

Definitely a good thread to start, to get to the reason dudes buy bikes. Getting noticed is definitely is why dudes buy bikes. I don't have a bike yet, but I will give rides to hot girls if they are so inclined, and when I am a good enough rider.

I'd like to pick up girls too, but unfortunately I don't have a bike. I am looking into them, but the only thing really holding me back is my height (4'10"). I've had my eyes on the Honda 599, Yamaha R6, and Yamaha 600R. I'd have to have the bike lowered of course, and wear some bigass stripper shoes. I am currently accepting and appreciating all possible advice from anyone. I just don't know what to do, what bike to get, or how the hell I'm going to pick girls up. I need a little help please. Thanks in advance!
Edit: Please don't get my hopes down!

I'm in the same boat as you.
I'm 5'1", so you're going to have a WAY bigger problem than me. My friend had his wheels off & the side plastics were almost touching the ground & I was touching on my tippy-toes. Another friend of mine has her bike so slammed that it can barely lean & I was almost flat-foot. Even with the bike extremely lowered, you will not be able to be flat-foot & it will be a stretch for you to even be on tippy-toes.
I'm in the same boat as you.

Right now I rock the backseat of my boyfriend's CBR 954RR.
Hopefully my dirt bike will be done this weekend, then I'll be riding that for a little while. After I'm comfortable, I'll get whatever street bike my short self can can touch the ground on! I know I don't want a Ninja 250 & I know I'd prefer a Honda or Yamaha, but I'll just have to see what's comfortable/possible for me.

I've never let my height get to me in the past, and I know for a fact I won't let it in the future either. The simple solution to reach the car pedals; pedal extensions. There is always a way to accomplish what is thought to be impossible. I'm just going to take a day out sometime soon here, visit a few dealerships, and get an idea for what feels the most comfortable to me. I have no doubt in my mind that it will be a challenge, but I'm willing to beat every bit of it.
I'm thinking about those growth injections.
