I think you could probably do it, but the cost of insurance might be prohibitive.

Play with one toy first. You can't play with two new ones at the same time.

I wouldn't recommend it. I did it, and I love my bike but now I'm kind of regretting it. I can make all my bills but I am kind of limited when it comes to spending money. when you add up all the bills and then unexpected costs that come a long sometimes it can be a little scary.

if u get a used bike around 5g's its gonna cost you about 100-150 a month on a 60 month term, ontop of that you have to get full coverage insurance when you finance a motorcycle. Depending on how much you pay for the new car+insurance+rent... is it affordable?

Car= $450, Rent = $300, Gas = $150, Insurance = $200, C/C = $300

Financing rates are typically higher for motorcycles than automobiles since the former are 'non-essentials' (there is a more proper term for this that escapes me at the moment).

If you have not done an insurance quote for the bike, it would be worthwhile to do so. Many insurance companies can give you a discount if you have an existing vehicle policy.

You should also factor in the initial purchase-cost of motorcycle gear.

My suggestion would be to get rid of the credit card debt first. That will help free up some of your discretionary income.

You should just finance a new R6 or something. You don't really need to eat and you're only young once so you can deal with debt later.

i just tried applying for a motorcycle loan and got denied, what people have been telling me is that you should do a personal loan instead. then there are things like a lein or full coverage ins.you won't have to worry about. not that i'm saying jump on a bike and not have ins. i would do full coverage, its just like stated earlier they are considered toys and loans for them are harded to get.

and yes state farm kicks *** on ins. 50 bucks a month for full coverage with medical (in my case that is) (that quote was for a 2005 raven black r6)

Yeah..you net $1600 a month salary and your current fixed bills are $1400 a month.

You're dumb for even thinking about this, let alone posting the question on here.

Go back to school or something.

Oh, and regarding State farm - $350 a year for full coverage.
