Finally...

...picked up a bike.

I got an '04 SV 650 naked, yellow of course.

It's much faster and sportier than I imagined. I'm on my third day of riding and I'm finally starting to relax...the bike is beginning to feel lighter. No close calls yet, knock on wood.

I can post some crappy camera-phone pics of it if you guys want. It's really a beautiful machine. I'm so happy.

Basically. I rode around on a Yamaha Zuma (50cc scooter) for a year before I got this.

ive never been too partial to the sv's; but congrats on the purchase nonetheless. from what i hear they are the perfect balance.

nice bike! yeah a coworker has a sv. pretty good lookin when you get up close.

hahah nice type r mang! does make you spot look like a bee hive

but damn mang you probably cant sleep at nite with the r and the bike parked out there

I sleep just fine. My neighborhood is just a bunch of yuppies anyway, no car people. And since I got the bike, I haven't had to use the car for very much, so no one sees it.

great choice on bikes man, i had one for 2 years and i still regret selling it.

will prolly pick up another one when i have the dough for a track bike
