Engine Titl Sensor
My friend just got a 636 and his tilt sensor is missing (salavge title bike) The bike just starts up and runs for 6-7 seconds everytime and than the ecu just shuts it off.
Is there anyway to bypass the sensor? I tryed paper clip in different combos between all 3 of the parts but no sucess (did notice tho if you put all 3 toghter bike refuses to start all toghter (fuel pump doesnt even start)

It would be my guess that its a normally closed switch (open to cut power). So if you find the wire in and the wire out of the tip over sensor, and wire them together, then it would be bypassed. If its a normally open, then you would have to make sure that it never finds ground. If you can find out which way it is, then that would be how to bypass it. I'm pretty sure its just a really simple 2 wire switch.
the tilt sensor is a 3 wire plug, i tryed putting paper clip between diferent combo's on the clip, and nothing (if you connect all 3 the computer really trips out and dumps the fuel pump totally) i think you need to have a certain voltage / amperage on the return so im presume i need a resistor? or to ground off one of parts of the switch? Just looking for temp fix until the part arrives as right now he can onlly ride for about 8 seconds (missing tilt sensor causes fuel pump to cut out and fuel in system only lasts about 8 seconds)
I know i can wire fuel pump on its own switch and so you can switch it on to ride and switch it off after but id rather just bypass the tilt sensor.
