Default cops profiling?

i was on a ride yesterday with 7 other bikes. we were on our way down a two lane road when we saw a unmarked on the side of the road with his lights on, and as soon as we all passed him he turned on the siren. we all slowed down and eventually pulled over, as more cops were coming from the opposite direction (lights on w/sirens). by the time we got off the bikes and took our gear off there must have been 6 or 7 squad cars. the closest one to my cluster of 4 told us to hold up and couldnt tell us what was going on but took all of our licenses. 2 of my buddys were back about 25 yards and the guy in the rear was another 15 yards behind them. it was insane! we were all asking what was going on and all they would say was that a cruiser was following us for 4 miles with his lights on and we werent pulling over. i sure didnt see him. after about 45 minutes on the side of the road we were all given tickets for 62/45 and told they could jack us up for failure to stop for blue lights. when we argued that we didnt see him and why didnt he just blare his siren if we werent pulling over, he said "give me a reason to lock you up, im in the mood". we also argued who did they see speeding? how can you give 8 guys all the same ticket? guilty by association, or profiling? it was crazy but thats what happened. how do you think court will go?

Gawd me and a hommie rode to hooters last nite.

From the onramp of the 605 to the onramp of the 10 he was on our ***. he even pulled up beside us and was just doggin us.

traffic started to come up so we both waved to him as we started to cut traffic.

was your group geared up?

i noticed that police tend to give you less trouble if youre wearing a lot of gear

i was in huntington beach one time and my buddy and i rode through an intersection that had motorcycle cops on both sides. They had decided to pull us over before they really even saw us. Luckily they were super nice and only stuck me with 1 fix it ticket when i had a lot of stuff wrong with my old f4i and i forgot my documents at home

guess it all depends on respect too

sorry to hear about that man. hope everything works out

In MA, it used to be against the law for more than four bikes to travel together at any given time. Apparently it was classified as a "biker gang". I assume other states may have have similar laws. Be careful whenever travelling out of state.

First of all you can always ask to see the readout on the radar gun if you are accused of speeding...in this case I would think they would have to show a separate reading for each rider.

Yeah, cops can pretty much ruin your life in 2 seconds even if you really weren't doing anything.

I've run into some good cops, but most of them are dicks on power trips.

I was with a group a few weeks ago. One guy did a seat stander and I guess they say and followed us down a side street to a stunt spot. Now out of my group I'm like the only one that doesn't stunt and am one the only that wears a 1 piece regularly. Well, I was just messing around and popping the clutch and got the wheel up maybe inches at most and we were all speeding. I hear sirens. Look behind, cop flying after me, as I stop and look around, all the others ditched and took off. Leaving myself and another rider. Pulled out the military ID, both former Marines. Chewed my *** and told me I could have gotten a reckless driving ticket, but I was cut loose. So yeah, my fault too. Finally getting my endorsement next week once I get to that class.

Of course the pigs profile bikes. Me and my buddy were on a ride a couple of years ago shortly after he got his R6 and was breaking it in still so was taking easy and this fat *** blob comes up on us lights on and what not. We pull over and he gets out of the car as fast as his tubby *** can without greasing the door it was kinda funny watching. But comes up to us with their typical attitude " is blatanly disregarding the speed limit a regular practice for you 2?" long story short after arguing and asking to see the radar gun he gets pissed cause he knows we catch him in a lie and lets us go. Then we rag on him about lying and that he is supposed to stand for honesty and what not.. I hate cops
