Default Choke

Orlando, FL...nights are colder and days are cooler. How long does one choke the bike when cold starting in the morning?

Interesting that there is even a thought that he was speaking of choking his F4i. Don't think he meant his F4 guys...maybe a carburated bike he had before.

i know on the FI gixxer's you have a 'choke' its like a fast idle control.

btw, if i were you, id choke it for about 15 seconds, then add slightly throttle and take off the choke completely, and throttle it to about 3000 rpms or so and manually warm it, fouling out the plugs are a bitch....

Full choke....bike starts with one click....i let it fast idle for about 30-45 sec. and turn choke completely off....bike continues to run with no hesitation. Great advice
