Default changing odometer?

so im looking at changing my spedo, tach etc, but I'm concerned with my odometer. I want to transfer my current mileage
to the new odometer. Other than putting my bike up on stands and red lining 6th gear for a few weeks, Is there any way to do this?

if it's an old bike with a cable drive speedo, you can use a drill motor :D

if your gonna go with a digital speedo than you cant do that. its not a big deal, just write down your old mileage before you sell your gauges.

then get some kosos, acewell or trailtech. acewell are nice and there made in england i believe.

I googled acewell and those units look nice. Made in Taiwan (so is everything else). The one unit I looked @ listed that the end user can adjust the odometer so long as the mileage was under a certain number. Sounds like it will fit the bill
