So I just bought my second bike from them a couple of weeks ago. I know I know, they are a jip, but I had cash to flaunt so I managed a decent deal on an 05' R6.

Either way, I buy the bike and head to the loading/release area to pick it up. They go over a "checklist" (bullshit) that includes all of the different things that they check and maintenance that they have done after acquiring the bike. One of the things checked was "tire pressure."

I get the bike, warm her up, and ride it out the lot. First thing I noticed (bike is on almost new Dunlop BT021 dual compounds) was that it was following lines HARD. I figured maybe the compression/rebound etc was grossly off, because of course they would have checked the tire pressure (according to their checklist) right? WRONG. The bike doesn't want to lean, it wants to straighten up on the slightest bump on a turn. I head to a gas station about a mile away and check my tire pressure....

Moral of the story: check all the important sh*t yourself as soon as riding a bike off the lot, I learned this the hard way. Those checklists are just ink on paper, nothing more.

If tire pressures were that low, you should have been able to visually see it even before you got on..

I would never trust someone doing a "x inspection" on anything I own..

I go to Berts just to go and sit on them bikes but never buy anything from there!! Theyre a big time RIP OFF!!
