2009 Honda Pilot Touring Fan(?) Noise
Hi all,
I am new to Honda and this forum. I bought this Pilot Touring 2 weeks ago and have heard this noise on very cold mornings when I start it up. The dealership says it is a normal sound to Hondas during cold start-ups.
Is it normal? Is it the interior climate control fan? or something else?
Check this video clip out for the sound.

Thanks for any help I can get!

Sounds like the blower motor. Was that up under the passenger side dash?
Year?
Does your owners manual say anything about it?
Questions to ask the dealer: If they says it normal,
A) what is actually turning on? and
B) if it's the fan why does it need to come on at all?

@lazlong: Thanks for the reply.
It is a 2009 Honda Pilot Touring.
The sound comes from the front passenger footwell, behind/Under the dash somewhere.
I can't replicate it on demand so I haven't gotten to test it out yet, like increasing/decreasing the fan etc to narrow it down.
I will ask my dealer that.
Thanks again!
