2000 Odyssey transmission works fine but then acts like it is in neutral and engine RPM is reduced. Turning engine off resets something because it will make it work again for a short period of time.

sounds like the internal filter is clogged, tranny needs to be pulled and rebuilt and filter replaced, or, at the very least have the internal filter replaced if it shifts fine otherwise before it stops working completely
