Re: hottest cr-z yet!!!!!
From a performance aspect you want to get the smallest wheel you can that will clear the brake caliper, unless you are leaving the door open for a larger brake package. In that case you can achieve better braking performance by replacing key components in the system rather than going BBK.
Additionally, the tire is usually the heaviest part of the wheel tire combo and the further you push the tire away from the center axis the more performance takes a hit. Braking distance increases, acceleration diminishes, etc. The reason most people think a bigger wheel gives them better performance or handling is generally the sidewall gets smaller so their is less flex in the side wall. Sometimes when you get a tire that has too low of profile a tire can break traction sooner than if it had a larger profile, the very same reason stretching a tire for a street car is a bad idea.

Its actually turbo'd.
For those interested, here is the link to the actual article. It was a concept for a turbo'd track car from Honda.
"a turbocharger and upgraded IMA™ hybrid system, resulting in an estimated combined 200 horsepower and 175 lb-ft. of torque; performance clutch; limited-slip differential; 'circuit-tuned' suspension; upgraded brakes and aerodynamic components."
