mpg fail. @ only 33mpg for the manual might as well get a corrolla. most room, half the cost and prolly faster. whats the point of having a battery if it gets the same mpg as other gas only cars?

I have a sneaking suspetise that it's sold for 2 reasons.
1. To spread out the cost of Honda's IMA system.
2. To bump up the corporate MPG average and meet/exceed the CAFE mandate.

Curb weight is at 2700lbs. If a K24 fits in the confines of that engine bay, that car will be a party.

How is it making that little power and not getting mileage at least on par with the Insight? That's pathetic. A Civic EX is quicker and gets better mileage than that.
