i have nothing to add, other than i am trying to put 2 and 2 together. given the handle and the "sponsor" on the back of the fit, you fit guys are graced by a very very fast race car driver. if it is who i am guessing, i used to crap my pants watching him race ssc when speed carried the runoffs coverage. if it is that "said" user, glad you are here. i will let you fill them in with the rest.

Re: Road Race Fit
Hello everyone,
Four SCCA regionals race wins later I decided to to a SCCA national race.
Yikes those old cars are well prepared.
But I still got second place, mostly by not breaking down ... Yeah Honda
Running some British AVON brand racing slicks now ... Boy do those tires turn RIGHT NOW !

Along with camshaft services are custom Bisimoto Pro valve-springs with titanium retainers which have been spintron tested to 14,000 RPMs in harsh controlled environments with much success. Being so you will have piece of mind knowing that your valve train far exceeds your power band.
And of course Bisimoto offers the following for the L-series engines:
- Forged pistons with several options for bore and compression
- H-beam steel rods
- head porting services
- multi-layer steel head gaskets
- and much more

Re: Road Race Fit
I would LOVE to build a GE for the new SCCA B spec class.... Till then I just have to make do with AutoX'ing in STF lol
What are your plans to tune it once you have a lumpy cam in there? There does not seem to be huge support for our cars, other than going full stand alone...

Re: Road Race Fit
I was just reading the SCCA rule book for HP class. And WOW they allow so much stuff just in a production class!!
I can only afford going lapping in my Fit up to a few times a year. What kinda suspension & transmission setup do you use? And what is your advice on corner weighing your suspension setup?
I just got a set of KW v2 for my car and was hoping to corner weigh it & try it out this season. However I got too busy with work & family til now. Looking to replace my spark plugs & ignition coils this winter, and pray the next season will be here soon.
Must be expensive to run, and WIN in one series. Two thumbsup to you, sir!

Re: Road Race Fit
Yes get your car corner weighted as soon as possible.
Any time you get a part that can be adjusted think that it is out of whack.
That will serve you well with all race parts.
