New Fit Mileage vs '07 Fit
I see where the Honda website shows M/T Fit as getting only 33 MPG Hwy and 27 MPG City.
Is this for real, my sticker said 39 when I bought my silver sport. What has changed to cause this discrepancy ?
I can routinely get 40/41 when on the road, having driven 35K miles in 5 years.
Note* minimal braking, windows always up, 60 mph maintained with cruise control,
with properly inflated tires, and I coast in neutral whenever possible.

Re: New Fit Mileage vs '07 Fit
just an FYI, your using more fuel in neutral in a MT fit then engine braking. And yes EPA estimated are usually under rated IMO.

OP, when comparing fuel economy at Fueleconomy.gov, put up the 2007 Honda fit and then compare with the 2013 Honda fit. Don't go by the numbers you remember your car rated at or that piece of paper that was on the car window when you bought your car because the calculation methods for fuel economy changed in 2008 and numbers posted on the website all abide by that new calculation method.
