Default K Sport Kontrol Pro Coilovers & Honda Fit - Anyone using them?

I've read over the coilover suspension posts in forums like fitfreak- also searched here- and haven't seen anything about the K Sports'. Can anyone using these on their Fit give me some insight as to their level of satisfaction.

I'm considering upgrading to these coilovers, Volk RE30's, and BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2.

The Fit is the daily driver for my wife and I. I would go for the Mugen suspension if the ride height were adjustable. Anyhow, any input as to the best offset, better tires, or better coilovers would be appreciated.

Is anyone using them? Am I going to have to get some and be the judge?

The feel I'm getting for my offset question is that I'll want to be 30-35mm in the front and 40-42mm in the rear if I want to avoid rubbing. +33F and +42R would be the sizing for the RE30's.

I have the same coils for my EK. I havent put them in yet, but anyone that I personally know says they love them. They are a bit firm, but are adjustable dampening. There were reviews from people saying that they blew them, but with an adjustable lower mount, they must have been adjusting with the chuck keys at the coils instead.

I have them on my fit. I like them a lot and they are cheap.

Only downside is make sure you get usdm ones and not the jdm ones, I was sold the jdm ones told they would work. Had to have new stuff engineered on the mounts for them to go in, quite the headache but nick from ksport was cool about it.

My mechanic had them on his authentic EF9 and I was impressed by them. I like that they have an adjustable lower mount. He could jack a corner up and not have the wheel extend downward at all, it would sit right at stock ride height.

I don't think there are any other brands that are going to allow me to lower the car and maintain suspension travel. This is the only option available right now for both ride height and dampening adjustability....yes?

Any input on the offset necessary to avoid rubbing with 16x7 wheels?

Here's a handy tool to determine if it will fit or not. Measure your from the outside bead of your wheel to the inner fender where it will hit, make sure you use a straight edge from that spot where it'll hit on the inside to get an accurate-ish measurement. Then you know how much the wheel can go outwards.

That's so common sense I suppose it might just work. What is the offset of the factory steelies?

Hmmm... the HFP wheels are +55mm 16x7.

Maybe I should go with the CE28Ns in +48
