Hi, I have a 2008 Honda Fit with 48,000 miles. I bought it new. About 2 months ago I was driving on the highway going about 60-75 mph and the noise inside the car got really loud. The faster I went the louder the car sounds. This past weekend I did some more highway driving and it's gotten even louder. This has happened about 3 times now. I replaced 2 tires about 1 year ago. The car has always been serviced at a Honda dealer since I bought it. I just got my 45,000 mile service from the dealership.

Before I take the car to be examined I want to know the possible reasons for the noise. I'm really reluctant to take it to the dealership because even with the simple service they do they forget to do things like reset my oil change indicator, etc. In this case I just may take it to a regular mechanic since my warranty expired anyway.

I'm live in Brooklyn and most of my recent highway driving has been to Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Philadelphia.
