I have the CMR kit, and after buying both I would probably go with the CCM kit. Honda Element 2" Lift Kit - CCM Offroad & Performance Inc.

CMR jacks up the rear way more than it should. It feels off balance unloaded, and on tight curves at speed the rear end slides because the front end is pointed down. It's not a huge deal to me since I load my rear end down, but you can look at my recent pics to confirm.

so how tall are the spacers that you have? I only need spacers. I can just pick up the control arms and cam bolts from one of our suppliers.

I just did 40mm Dobinson Springs and have run 215 75 15 General Grabbers for years now, it is a great all around setup IMO! Did a full shock, brake, all bushings rebuild too using all KYB, Moog Raybestos parts. Best $900 or so bucks I could have spent! Did all the work myself...the rear bolts suck seized up even in California. The springs are available on their Amazon store. Remember, IMO your car is 15+ years old and in need of some love! Highly recommend new Moog front ball joints, sway bar bushings and inner and outer tie rods. Going to try 235 75 15 Grabbers next as we drive on snow/sand frequently. PM me if you need help. -J

Dobinsons wants to break into the US market more now with their high end accessories, similar to ARB's growth recently. Can't describe how much better the ride is on and off road! We have a local sand dune area and hitting 45-50 on washboard is way more fun now, also can droop way more than before. Follow andrewdb7 on here and read his sway bar ideas too! lemme know via pm if you have any questions!

I’ve got all this... KYB all 4 corners strut-plus, Moog camber/control arms, SPC camber bolts, and the 30mm/40mm spacers. Took a while to save up hah. I might try to install the new studs and spacers on the front spring assemblies this Saturday. I’m reconsidering the 40mm in the rear - might be too much?

Anyone want to trade for some 30mm rear spacers?😅

Nice little pile of goodies there! Is this lot for a gen two? I have the 30mm strut spacers but I’m considering adding some 10mm HDPE “chopping board” spacers too. Would be interesting to here how 40mm goes. Also are they lift springs or standard height springs?

JEGS Performance Products 681000: "D" Window Wheel Diameter & Width: 15 x 7" JEGS
I ran those exact wheels on mine, but I CNC'ed a set of center-bore adapter spacers that were 15mm thick, had the Jeep center-bore facing the wheel, and the Honda center-bore facing the hub/rotor. This was the ultimate solution for the problem.

It’s for a 2nd gen yes! They are standard height springs. I was concerned that the 40mm in the rear would make it too tall in the back and maybe even stress some components. The stance would probably look weird too IMO.

OT: but related I hope.
Has anyone ever mounted snow chains on the rear wheels of a CR-V?
We regularly drive in light snow up to 20cm or so and the Geolandar A/T G015s are brilliant without chains.
But, when we fit them we of course use them on the front.

What would the CR-V 4WD system do with rear mounted chains?
Spend the whole time vectoring torque to the rear, over-heating the trans, get confused, or act like a RWD?

I would consider small cable type traction devices on all four wheels if you are in deep snow (+4 inches). The AWD system or RTAWD system is pretty good considering a lack of true locking anything. A good set of AT's and good driving habits will be all most need. Ice is another beast. Never driven a 3rd gen and up CRV though. My two cents!

I think the 40mm rear should look fine. They have a sag naturally and tend to sag further when loaded down. I would suggest spraying PB Blaster on critical bolts like the rear strut bolts 24hrs prior to beginning. Also pay special attention to the orientation of the front strut hat mounts, mark with a paint pen even to realign. There are some good videos on YouTube to help and give tips. Also like the thread recently posted here on HT. Check everything else suspension wise too. Really liked the KYB ride quality so far with my setup. Good Luck!

I hope so - I mounted the longer studs today at work. I used a wall mounted spring compressor and had no clue what I was doing lol.

Well, ****. I might have to redo the fronts then. I guess i'll see when I go to put them in.

@ KINgJ8

Thanks for the input!
I bought some 30mm spacers. And I'll make my own booster for the rear spacers with some 6mm plate.

Does anyone know where you could get hold of the spare wheel cover 08U02-S9A-100A?
Wasn´t sold in Europe and seems to be discontinued
