Great read, in this case...being a 4cylinder and "3wd" at best, yeah I know the 215's are my smart choice. Airing down probably makes a bigger difference than the rotational weight added of 20cm. Think I am going to hold out and get different offset/lighter wheels come tax time when I need new rubber anyways.

Became inspired of a pic you posted of your V with black sidesteps.
So as a early Xmas present I ordered some 3" black step bars from Tuff-Bar at CARiD and since it is the details that does it, couldn´t resist in getting a setup of Winjet smoked style fog lights.
Can´t believe how cheap stuff is in US, haven´t found any black stuff here in Europe, only horrendous polished chrome.
Will however take about 15-28 days for me to get it and I pay like 75% on top of the price in taxes and fees to get it here :D
Took last summer off to enjoy life while i can. Drove from BC to Arizona in late april/early may then took another epic road trip across BC all the way Yukon and Alaska, even made it up part of the dempster hwy.
Not quite finished yet, but figured I'd share this light bar mount we've been working on. There's a lot of room under the roof rail shroud on the 2nd gens to do whatever you want.

Light bar cleaned up a little, painted, ready to rock. No wind noise that I can tell yet - although my sunroof visor now makes a different noise in the wind. There is some vibration of the bar at speeds past ~40 but it's nothing major.

Need to pull the 10AWG power cable onto the basket and into the power central for the lights.
Thanks KINgJ8!! I didn't use a tema kit I used an older CMR kit that I slightly modified. Originally I tried to stack the CMR and Tema kit together but the drive line angles were horrible. so i just went with the CMR kit.

That's a very nice basket, looks good and cool to see it on a powder coat rack.
There is even enough room to get a pretty thick wire up the A column from under the hood if you remove the windshield trim. Smush it in then put the trim back on. It's a little "one time usey" as far as the clips go, but that trim piece is not super expensive and my rubber had rotted out in there for the most part already. Once you get it up under the roof rail plastic there really is a ton of room. You may need to trim a little half circle in the plastic depending on where you want your wire to come out, but it's all in out of view places so it's very user friendly as far as being able to hack it up and not worry about it too much.
Hello everyone was just wondering what everyone was using as far as sway bar endlinks on their lifted first gens, Or if anyone even still uses them after their lift. Bought my car a few years ago and previous owner had cut the old ones out. Found a few crvs at a local junk yard I was going to pull the sway bars off of. I know that my off road capabilities will suffer but as of now with two kids I hardly see any of that any more anyway. Ive got 40mm in the rear and 30mm in the front with new struts all around. Was just curious if people use the stock ones or know of another application with a bit longer endlinks i need to use. Any info is greatly appreciated
I'm running fully stock sway bar and links on my 1st gen, with about the same lift as you. There is no problem with functionality. I hear some people get longer links but maybe someone else knows more about that.

Got some minor rubbing on the front now that i have 225/70R16 A/T's. Mostly when turning rubs against the plastic fender. Seems i need a little more lift than the tema4x4 kit provided. That or i remove the plastic and bash the fender in as needed? but i don't really want to do that yet... Could i get a little more lift with sleeves or something? AND the thing is i want to be able to put snow chains on the crv but with theses clearance issues the chains will surely mess my car up! Any ideas appreciated. You can see the shiny metal screw on the corner of the plastic where it rubs.
