---Write Up: Rear Wiper Delete for Less Than $10---
I'm not a fan of the rear wiper, so I wanted to remove it. I didn't want to simply pull the wiper off and leave a big stub there, so I bought this rear wiper delete meant for 94-01 Integras on eBay. It also works for the RSX because I had one on my old DC5. Anyway it was about $9 and it looks like this on the 'teg...
Stock wiper...
Wiper and motor removed(yay, saved 5lbs in the process)...
Kit from eBay...
The plug is too big for the hole in the hatch, so it needs some modification to fit...
I used a 4 1/2 angle grinder to cut it down to size. A dremel would have been easier, but I don't have one...
Then sanded it to clean it up a bit...
I accidentally scratched the top of the plug, so I hit it with some bumper paint...
Cleaned up the hole a bit...
Fit's like a glove(sorry for the dark pic, I was losing daylight)...
All done...
When I find the factory color touch up paint I am going to color match it. I think it looks pretty good, anyway.

Don't mean to knock,..but besides the fact that a rear wiper can be really useful, a black **** on the back doesn't do it for me either.
Keep the wiper, or have it closed properly. This may be a 10 dollar fix. But it also looks like a ten dollar fix.

Re: (crxforum)
hate the rear wiper... ordering one of those today. Plus if I pull out the wiper motor maybe my rear hatch shocks will be able to hold the hatch up again
