Hasport makes a motor mount kit for B-series swaps into 1G CRXs. But there are still issues that must be dealt with. First of all, these mount kits are made for a cable transmission ONLY. There is no hydraulic conversion kit for this generation of Civics/CRXs. So if you use this kit (or likely any other that is available), you will have to separately source a cable transmission for the job. Secondly, there is the issue of the intake manifold. Now I have heard nothing in stone about this. But everyone suggests that the stock GSR intake manifold WON'T fit. With this said, you will likely have to go to a single runner style manifold such as the Skunk2 manifold. And finally, if you want to run the P72 ECU, a wiring conversion is in order.

and, you need to swap knuckles/hubs for ones from 86-89 Integra and get Hasport axles and shift linkage

a GSR will not go into a 84-87 CRX without a intake manifold swap, a B16/ITR or aftermarket manifold will be required
and yes you will need to swap to a Bseries Cable tranny, you will need hasport axles, 87 Integra knuckles alot of wiring, and hasport mounts, along with all the little **** that comes up
88-91 CRX with GSR wont be a problem just, mounts, shift linkage, axles and a lil bit of wiring

Re: will b18c swap work on 87 crxsi??
I have an 87' crx si that I would like to put either a b18 or b20 into it, the problem is I am new to it all including these forums. Also I would like to turbocharge whichever I end up putting into it. any ideas on what I need and what I should get?
sorry about posting it here but I just joined and cant make my own thread so I figured I would mooch off someone else trying to do a similar swap
THANKS!!
