Default OBD0 w/ OBD2 Distributor and Alternator WIRE INFO HERE

OBD0 OBD2
Blue w/Green Stripe -Yellow
Blue w/Yellow Stripe -Black
Orange w/Blue Stripe -Green
White w/Blue Stripe -Red
Orange - Blue
White - White
Thick White - Yellow w/Green Stripe (Ignitor Signal)

Alternator Wiring Comparison:

OBD0 OBD2
Yellow -White w/Red Stripe
White w/Yellow Stripe - White w/Green Stripe
Black w/Yellow Stripe - Black w/Yellow Stripe
White w/Blue Stripe -White w/Blue Stripe

i've been doing this y8 swap in my 88hf crx, been stupmed on a lot of wireing that needs to be done so basicly a lot of research has been done. Not that much info on the little things...just on the basics. Hope this helps

i dunno bout that dizzy wiring but i know u can swap the board on the alternator to the old round plug so its plug and play.

wow.. I did both these on my swap.. I put a obd0 harness around a obd2 motor.. Too bad i didnt mark down the wiring. gosh it was years go though.

Yes, you can easily swap the pieces shown... was sayng the conversion for the dizzy is correct if the ecu jumper is made that way... ya see, how you pin the dizzy is directly effected on how you pin the ecu jumper and vice versa... get it

HOW YOU MAKE THE ECU JUMPER REFLECTS ON HOW YOU PIN THE DIZZY!!!



so this means that both of these are "correct" and that gets the installer nowhere

yeah im pretty lost now on which way to wire becausei dont have a thick blue..just those colors i posted up..its an obd2 distributor and obd0 harness(enginE)

back from the dead, so if you swap the obd0 plug on an obd2 alternator, NO OTHER wiring is needed correct?

Need help my buddy has a 91 Da Integra we just got a obd2 alternator I know the plugs change but my concern is the top bracket the upper top ear to the alt ends up being shorter than the upper bracket so it does not sit flush with the hole any info would greatly appreciated.

also I swapped out the pulley as the obd2 came with a much wider pulley than his obd0 pulley
