why would you ever want a rover.. here in the UK there everywhere and theyre toss.. many member on the CRX UK forum have had these, an then upgraded to a rex cos theyre much much better...

The engine comes from a Rover , I thought they used the Z5 engine in the later models. Rover and Honda are working together since the early 80's
They made a turbo turbo: 220ps stock and they are sexy but scarce

well us americans are all about importing everyone else's trash and wanting to drive it... take for example how much everyone pays for civic/crx jdm bumpers and such.. its unreal.. probably just taken off the **** in japan's junkyards!

some guy was trying to sell me this same exact motor in some shop in fullerton. he was selling me the swap for $900. he said it was a european integra motor. i was scratching my head after he said that.

rovers do use an engine called a k-series, but it's not the honda k-series
when bmw bought rover, honda severed all ties (and were mightily pissed off i would imagine), and although certain rovers are still based on old civic platforms they don't share engineering or knowledge anymore.
the rover k-series is the all-aluminium motor with long bolts right through the engine. as used in non-usdm lotus elise's and various lotus seven clones due to it's very light weight. it's not that powerful even in VHPD form (lotus 340r/exige)
