My CRX is victim of fat *** syndrome, in that, the previous owner's gigantic *** violently rubbed up against the side of the driver's seat every time he got in or out of the car, causing the fabric to be rubbed raw.

I'm not looking to spend too much cash on a set of replacement seats, because honestly, seats are seats, and I'd rather spend the cash making the car go faster than un-fat-assing the seats. I figure as long as I'm getting new seats I might as well explore other options aside from junk yard pulling some OEM honda seats.

Sparcos are nice, but at $500 a piece... meh.

 

stock..... mine are comfy and its not a show car. i dont need the attention to my car... jackers like to take cars that look like they are worth stealing...

 

i got 89si with stock si seats in mint condition in mine. they are compfy. any crx stock seat is compfy in good condition

If its only your driver seat that needs to be replaced, then I would just purchase one bucket seat for the driver. Besides why do you need 2 seats if you are the only one doing the driving? That is, unless you carry a camera man or navagator along for a ride frequently. That way you can buy a Sparco, Momo, Buddy Club etc seat. Plus IMO the passenger seat is only there for when I need to take someone with me somewhere. When I race I do it alone, so there really isnt any need to have more than one. Thats just my 2 cents. But Good luck.....go for Sparco or Corbeau

 

why not have them recoverd.. and have the foam replaced. thats what im going to do

 

RECARO SRD in my CRX. RECARO are the best IMO.

 

90 integra RS seats. They are the best. THey are firm and comfy and look good and match the civic interior. Here is a pic of my seats.

You do make a valid point, but I think the lack of symmetry would drive me crazy.

What do you think that's going to cost you? You can get a set of two used OEM CRX seats for ~$100 it seems like?

Those seats look like a beefed up version of the Hf seats.....You said a pair of integ RS seats? what year did you use...? Damn those looks hot.

I went down to the Dealership....just for ***** and gigles right....they want 1500$ PER SEAT......That's everything from head to rail. So i asked for just the fabric 400$ for the whole unit/per seat.

 

the local u-pull-it yard had stock 88 si seat with little ware for 25 bucks a piece. i all reday have three sets of seats and don't need another set. check you local u-pull-its. i think even teg seats will bolt in with slight mod. of interior.

gsr black leathers, in pretty good condition...got both for 200 flat, a little moddin is needed but otherwise, it looks good
