take a look at the serial number on the front of the tranny.. should say y1, l1, s1... etc, do a little research on what the engine the tranny is from or model of the rex the tranny is from and just pick the sensor off another tranny of the same sort

I apologize, we were not specific enough. He has a JDM d15b with a crx si cable tranny. The electronic vss he had on his car was broken during the swap....and we are in need of another one but are not sure what make n model to ask for, we tried using a b series electronic vss but it did not fit correctly. any help would be much appreciated.

I think 92-95 should work for you, I think i have a busted one I could send you if you wanted to try it out but you might as well just buy a good one instead of paying shipping just to test fit but let me know

ask mista bone he'll know

i put a vss from a 92 civic into an 88 crx si tranny and it worked though i had to mode something to make it all fit, not wiring mod, but a little bt of cutting and grinding.
