very confused d15 with z6 head

Default very confused d15 with z6 head

i have upgraded all my wiring form obd 0 tto obd1 and now that means that the harness has a speed sensor but the d15b2 tranny has a cable speedometer and if i change the tranny to a z6 one and the speed sensor goes in how do i get the stock cluster to read the mph.. i need a way out of this any posts will help i plugged a sppeed sensor in cause it kept throwing the check engine but it still throws it... so how do i eliminate the check engine or the problem/

Use your cable VSS, only simple way to keep your cluster.

what?!?!

the dr. gave you the answer.. take out the electric vss that was in your z6 trans.

then, take the mechanical vss out of the b2 transmission, and put it in the z6 trans.

hook the spinning cable from the transmission to your stock ef guage cluster, and you will no longer have a vss check engine light, once you unhook your battery for 10 seconds.
