thescr33nn4m3's 90 SiR EF9 build
Hey everyone! This will be a slow build thread but I'll update it as much as possible.
1990 SiR EF9
-Barcelona Green
-AEM intake
-RS*R header
-Unknown exhaust?
-De-catted
-Possible tune? I pulled the carpet back and it's been hand etched "socketed" on the ECU. I'll look more into that later.
-Enkei wheels
-Meister R suspension
131,xxx KM
No rust what-so-ever!
The day I bought it:
Attachment 515674
Attachment 515675
Attachment 515676
Attachment 515677
Attachment 515678
Attachment 515679
After a good wash and wax:
The stock heater motor was shot so I replaced it. That was absolutely terrible! As you can see not much clearance to fit it in there:
Living in England the car is wayyyyyy to low for the roads and speed bumpers here so when I went to adjust the Meister R's that have been on the car for like the last 6 years. Found one was blown and the collars were completely seized on 2 others. Soooo I decided to get new suspension. Unfortunately, a lot of companies didn't want to send suspension to APO, AE (military post office). So I ended up going with Meister R's again since they are a local UK company. Can't beat that 2 day shipping.
Will update with pictures when I get them installed tonight.

Yeah I've never heard of Barcelona green before. From a distance it looks black but up close it's green. It's pretty neat. Your EF8 is amazing as well!

Pictures of the car raised up. I'm getting old and broke my back a couple years ago so super dumped cars with ridiculously hard suspension isn't my thing anymore. I feel this is perfect for me and the car.

Tried my hand at painting a valve cover today. I got all new gaskets for the valve cover and spark plug tubes grommets. Probably throw this on when I pick up my gaskets and heater blower motor resister.
