i have a 1990 crx dk obd0 swaped to a 92 b18a1 obd1. it will not rev over 2500 rpms and is throwing a THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS) code and a Crank Position Sensor. the wiring was done by Rywire and i have changed the distributor.

whats a tk? well i believe that you have to switch the green and yellow wires on the tps you normally do with a dx which is the model i think you talking about, and this is when you do a swap, for the crank posision you have to run a wire from you blue/green wire to c1 and from your blue/yellow to c2 on your dizzy that should take care of your problem.
Also a little more info like if the car ran before or if this just came up out of no where would help alot
Edit: After running those wires to c1 and c2 your gonna have to connect the old c1 to b10 and the old c2 to b12, the pinning are different for the different ecus so you have to put them where they belong
If you have the correct ecu for the b18a1 heres a diagram of where all your pins should be

Re: swaped crx ? (stocker2shocker91)
Heya, if we haven't troubleshooted this already with you, give us a call.
If we have troubleshot it and we are all still stuck, it's because some problems just can't be diagnosed over the phone, or we just can't get enough information to form a accurate conclusion.
A TPS code is usually caused by miscalibration but can be caused by the thermostat housing ground not being attached as well.
The wiring to a TPS is easily verified with a volt meter by continuity checking, and that's our first troubleshooting step in solving a TPS problem. Sometimes the shock tower plugs have poor connections, that test verifies that it's ok.
Thermostat housing ground is usually the culprit in "undiagnosable problems" because of the variety of codes it can cause, all resulting in a no-start condition.
We'll keep throwin ideas out there It's still up to you to experiment with them.
Wish ya the best, hope to help you solve this soon. ~ Peter

A PR4 OBD1 ECU will work with that engine. Anything else, just call, i don't check honda-tech much. Thanks ~ Peter
