Suspension Techniques Rear Bar

Suspension Techniques Rear Bar
I just picked this bar up for my 1990 CRX. Its fairly thick, i havent even began to look at the instalation... but having friends with EKs and having subframe damage from even a beaks kit... do we EFs have to worry about that with this kit? I used to work in a metal shop so i'm sure i could make something to help sure it up if there is an issue... i just want to know if there is a history of it before i put it in so i can install the bracing before hand.
any info would be great!

If you got the same ST bar I have, you don't need to worry. The bar mounts to the underside of the chassis at the tow hook locations, not the rear subframe.

YUP, I believe the ST rear bars mount the same on all EF bodies. My car sees track duty alot and I never had a problem

the frame mounting is very sturdy, and the crx doesnt put too much strain on them anyways, as long as you have some decent springs in the rear.
I've been autocrossing with mine for a little while and 400f/500r, and I've found myself with its best setting on full-soft, and I wouldn't mind finding something even softer... (but not the stock one, mind you).

Same as my setup, but I have only have 500 in the rear.
Its gonna be tail happy, but I've found toe out up front helps with recovery and some more negative camber in the rear could help too.
Just dont let it get to a point that you are slowing down before maneuvers like slaloms so you wont spin...that means you have gone too far. That's assuming you are autocrossing... I dunno.
