Si Distributor on ZC doing hack tomorrow help
I've been through 9 pages of responses for the search distributor, I haven't seen anything on this. I've talked to two people who know of doing this hack but nobody knows in detail. Has anyone done this recently and know what I have to modify on this 90 Si Distributor to make it work on my DOHC ZC? I heard you have to cut the arms certain ways and probably use two bolts.

Re: Si Distributor on ZC doing hack tomorrow help (beta13)
you will definitely not have the long arm that the zc dizzy has, but i don't see why you would need to cut arms off. won't the diz just sit flush a gainst the side? do any of the colos line up on the plugs? the single cam diz has a cam position sensor in it, i wonder if you might just block off the zc's exhaust side sensor opening with a cam seal, or maybe just leave the sensor in there, not hooked up. should have thought of that before making up some silly maguyver rigged nonexistant cam seal.

Re: Si Distributor on ZC doing hack tomorrow help (wreckedhatch)
About a week ago there was a thread about this same thing....the guy couldn't get the SI dizzy to work on the ZC. I, too, tried to the same thing but couldn't get that setup to work either...Sorry!
