And so the work begins again!!! 3yrs sitting on Jack stands and an evo later Im Back to work on Bernadette but I'm not stopping until she is finished this time. Since I last posted I stitch welded the front subframe and had it powder coated and actually bolted all the suspension in. I lost the bracket that holds the pass. Side of the steering rack in so if anyone has one laying around I have cash in hand lol my current project is finishing up the rear k mount and making a new front and rear bumper support with some latches from quik-latch.com for the bumper mounting and retapping all the other bolt holes

What did you spend on your K-swap? I don't want to start a bench race thing, but I don't agree with a bolt on K-swap build out pacing a turbo LS completely. What kind of numbers are you planning on getting?

As far as time attack goes, it's all in the torque. You don't really get nice stretches to hit your top end a lot. That's where staying NA with bigger displacement will net you a lot of gains.

But I am still stuck on the sound of a BOV! haha. Loooove it.

engine longevity dictates that the stock k-series will outlast a turbo LS on a regularly tracked car...and will more likely have less problems

Uhhhh, opinions! Much like bench racing, engine longevity isn't proven. I've seen turbo motors last longer than stock blocks. I've seen swaps last much longer than turbos too. Less problems is statistically right, due to being less complex systems.

Anyways, it's his build. He or she, I honestly don't even know, can do whatever they want. I just said I wasn't sold on the K-swaps yet.

Front end looks a little low to be w/o engine. Perhaps it won't squat much because of the stiff/race springs.
Keep her going this time, or you'll be too old to race by the time it's finished =P
