Default Rear disk swap questions

Im getting ready to do a rear disk swap on my 88 civic std using 92 da trailing arms. I was wondering when i upgrade the suspension (which i plan to do at the same time), do i need to use either 89 to 91 civic rear struts or can i use ones meant for an 88 civic? Ive read that they have a different way of mounting onto the trailing arm. Also what else do i need for the swap besides da rear brake lines, da trailing arms w/ disks, new pads/rotors, da ebrake cable. ive read that you should change the mc and booster and proportion valve, but a lot of people you dont have to change mc and booster. Also what prop valve do i used bc ive read a 4040 but idt thats right cause im still running small stock brakes on the fronts. ps i already read the faqs and searched and none specify on most of it. thanks for the help

Actually it won't bc I said I already went there and it didn't I need to know what suspension to use bc I have an 88 andthe bottom of the strut is different than the 89 to 91 and all the write ups are for the newer suspension style also the prop valve question is never answered some say 4040 some say others there is no definite answer and that's what I'm tryin to find out

Dooode.... here is a good write up for swapping brakes on EF civics. If your struts bolt up, then use them, if they don't... get the 89-91's. If it bolts up to the new trailing arm then you are golden.

If you are worried about what shocks to use, look to see what you have. Either the bottom of the shock has an eye or a fork <-that's the difference. It doesn't really matter because you can reuse your LCA. I replaced my LCAs with Function 7 LCAs, camber and toe links with Wicked Tuning links, and trailing arm bushing with a Noltec bushing.

As far as everything else, this is how I did mine I posted this on the ZC forum:

I just finished this swap, the Master cylinder was from a 90 EX and the front rotors were from a VW Corrado. The trailing arms (and everything on them), prop valve, and front calipers were from a DA. Traliing arms from a rear disc equipped CRX will work, but the parking brake cables will be too short. You'll also need new brake lines because the fittings are different on the discs. I used "91 CRX (with discs)" Goodridge lines, but I didn't take a pic.

DA rear trailing arms:

DA Front calipers:

15/16 90 EX Master Cylinder:

Corrado Rotors 280mm vs. stock 240mm:

Fastbrakes Front caliper adapter kit:

Comparison between stock and Fastbrakes kit (both are 15in wheels):
