I call bs. They are like wheel spacers. Unsafe pos 3rd world country made pos. I'd just get the whole set up from a da or dc at junkyard for like $150 with the mc.

Re: rear disc swap made easy?
yea while it is an interesting idea I would feel better just swapping it especially for that price. I picked up a whole DA rear end setup for roughly $100 when I swapped it.

Im sure they would work fine. Its just a caliper bracket that you can bolt onto the drum trailing arm. The stock disc rta's have a bracket for the caliper so I don't see what the problem is. I would probably just swap in some newer teg RTA's from the junkyard though.

Re: rear disc swap made easy?
Q: so if i bought these what all would I need to get with it? two hubs? two rear calipers and also two rotors?
Answered on May-09-09
A:
calipers, rotors, master, combo valve, hoses, cables...
Looks like you still need a lot of stuff to finish it. looks like it would be cheaper and easier to just get the integra stuff... i got mine for like 80 or 100 bucks total

Not sure if I would trust it just yet. It seems like they are a little scared to give advice on the items just by looking at their replies.
Q: What is the thinkness of the CIV plates ? I am wondering about the forces involved and if the plates are going to hold up...

A: Did you do the calculations? We did.
Q: Would this fit a civic 2000 EX with ABS ? Thanks

A: The chart shown in the listing says it will.

Re: rear disc swap made easy?
yeah i saw that too, i was refering to civic wagons as they have a longer trailing arm than the civic/integra chassis and so a brake conversion would consist of cutting and welding alot and im sure the integrity of the metal can withstand the pressure of a caliper clamping on a rotor , and as for the comments for the cost of it idk about you guys but it cost 2$ to get into pick and pull and nothing to walk out everything but the rotors could fit in your pants! all the rotor/calipers can come from the junkyard but im not the type to cheap out on brakes personally. this seems like a reasonable solution to the problem that plagues wagovaners (forgot to mention in

Re: rear disc swap made easy?
it takes 30 mins top to remove and replace over the trailing arms, and another 30 min max to properly bleed them. then another if you wanna add mc and prop valve. cant get anymore simpler.

Re: rear disc swap made easy?
Kinda sketchy in my opinion, but if you realy want the ABS try it and see what happens, just remember that if it brakes and caliper falls you're pretty screwed.

Re: rear disc swap made easy?
wow... so so shady. Just pull a rear disc setup off a teg and call it done. Its not hard at all if you have 2 people doing it.
wouldnt trust that crap at all.

Re: rear disc swap made easy?
OK, you all seem to be missing the point here. The OP asked about fitting these to a Civic Wagon (88-91). The Wagons have longer trailing arms than the other Civics and Integras. The disc trailing arms from those cars will not fit on the Wagon. This is why the OP is asking if anyone has tried these brackets on a Wagon arm.

Good point, I missed that for sure. These would be a possible option for him then. I doubt he will find anyone with experience on here. Probably have better luck on http://www.hondacivicwagon.com/bb/
