DO THE DOHC. IF YOU CAN GET A B16 OR B18 ARE THE BEST.. I HAVE 1991 CRX WICH I SWAPPED A H22 LSD TRANNY AND ITS VERY FAST.....

i'd personally do the dohc zc, the only down side is that it has less aftermarket support in the head but the sohc has a lot of parts available. The bottom ends are the same pretty much internally. I would just get a b16 swap its well worth it in the end no point in swapping if your gonna be running 16's high 15's with d series. A b16 at least runs mid low 15's. Engine only deals are 700 with ecu then to save money get ls trans and axles from a junk yard. Sorry to bash the zc but ive owned both sohc and dohc and b-series wins hands down. I also had a b16 in crx and gsr feels even better in crx I cant imagine what a toda pistoned b20 with gsr bottom end will feel like hopefully low 14's high 13's if lucky. a boosted dohc would be a sleeper though and cheap to maintain.

I put a b18 in my CRX and I'm in love, go with the b18 as driftdas2000 says its not worth it of your going to be running 16's or high 15's.

it depends on what you want the motor for speed? reliability? how much power are you wanting to make!

if you have enough money for b16 swap I would rather buy a dohc zc build it a bit and boost it...! i think b16 swaps cost to much. nice if you have the money but you could make more power out of dohc zc with boost than b16
