I just bought a '92 Civic EX, and its pretty beat. The only thing thats bothering me right now is the power windows wont work and its 90 degrees out. (theres no a/c either)
I have the door panel off, but I cant figure anything out, is there anyway to get the window down without power, or are there some easy things I can check to fix it?

check out if the motors are bad. if the motors work, then you can lower the windows by bypassing the switches and supplying 12v power manually. If the motors are bad, then there's not much you can do but take the windows out. if you don't want to replace the motors, you can go the cheap way and swap the motor assembly with the stock, manual assembly. good luck.

you may want to check with the eg forum since you have a 92... but this is some what of a universial question.

give us more of the symptoms... does the motor work? if not , check the relay... are your windows locked (duh?) check the power window fuse... I had a cable come off in my accord and replace the whole motor and track...

Sorry, didnt know the difference between the EG and EF, but ill check there.

Im not sure if the motor works, none of the windows are working though, and theyre unlocked. Where are the fuses and relays for the windows? I checked all the ones under the hood.
