I just got a b16 swap and when I am just crusing you can feel the car kinda stutering. It runs fine at wot but my Autometer A/F guage dose not bounce around and when I get on it it barely lights up and goes to Stoich. I talked to a mechanic about it and he said more than likely the o2 but I have not gotten any check engine lights. Also if it is the o2 how do I have to changeit do I have to remove the manifold to put the new one on. Also what car do I buy it for. I am running a pr3 ecu
any sugestions

Matt, I have th same issue. I just ran 14.9 with mine B16 Swap. I due believe that both my O2's are bad. You can have a O2 start to go bad yet not throw a check engine light. I believe (not 100%) that the Ecu only checks for signals in a certain range and as long as it is within that rang no CE. I've yet to find part numbers for both O2's so I have no replaced them yet to see if the issue is resolved. As far as the stuttering. I don't know how to fix that issue. I've tried everything. I'm not totally sure if it's due to the fact that I think I have a non stock TB on mine. If it is stock then I'll begin to look at bent valve or maybe tps. Not really sure what is causing it. Beware of the Ecu. When your car is cold it will not let you enter V-tec. It will limit you to 6500rpm. It's might imbarassing to run a 16.1 after running high 14's.

ok that is cool. If you do find the part numbers would you please let me know. Also the TB is stock but I highly doubt that I have a bent valve the car runs great and is not noisey either. Any other suggestion.

I just got the swap donne so it has had a full tune up. I just don't understand why my A/F guage barely lights up and at full throttle in goes to stoich. It only seems to stumble while cruising? what would cause that?

alright guys heres the deal if your swap has two o2 sensors. one of these will plug into your stock o2 wiring. and you have to add the second o2. if you pluged the stock o2 harness into the o2 then switch the o2.the primary o2 is the one you had to add, the stock one is the secondary o2, so hence swap the o2 wiring. that should take care of the problem.
