I'm having problems with how my engine run. The car starts up and everything. But when you try to press the gas to go, it seems like it's about to die so you have to press the gas til the rpm is very high to go in gear. We'll sometimes the car can only go up to 40 mph at 3 or 4 or gear. It doesn't go any higher than that but u can hear the exhaust and engine pushing harder. But it won't go any faster. What seems to be the problem?

 

clutch slipping...maybe.

 

How can that be? I had new clutch replaced.
