new to hondas...already stumped
Ok, so first off, hello I'm dallas. Enough of that, lol
I purchased a 1991 honda crx DX (5spd d15b2 dpi). I was told the fuel pump was bad, read around, found that main relays are main problem. Pulled relay, tried a few things i found on honda-tech by Ahknod, didnt seem to work for me. I have power at #1 pin and ground at 2. I jumped the 5 to 7 and now fuel pump. Checked for voltage at pump with relay in..6v. checked for voltage while jumping 5 to 7...6v. Hooked a KNOWN good pump to the 6v source...nothing. So im thinking ok maybe the pump isnt turning because it's only getting 6v. But WHY? I bypassed the relay so that isnt the issue on the 6v issue. Im guessing its 5 and 7 (from akhnods post at https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...35047)....Does anyone know why I'd be getting 6v? I checked every fuse i found under the dash and under the hood. #14 was bad, replaced it..but just 6v. I checked my ground on thermostat housing as ive read those tend to go bad. Now, the #1 terminal on the harness side has 12v....12.02 actually...but 6v at pump with or without relay.
Another issue is not cranking at all. Almost like a dead starter...but I am thinking it could be a ground considering the lack of V at the pump. Where will I find my other main grounds. I know its on the trans somewhere, but cant seem to find it...this car has been sitting for 3 years and has spider webs/wasps nests all in the engine bay and thousands of fire ants (which have been ELIMINATED MUAHAHHA) under the driver seat. Battery is BRAND new...just got it like 2 hours ago. Looking for any and all sugggestions. If any of you guys live in Tampa/Lakeland area and wanna come over and take a look let me know. Ill take any help I can get.
Also, on the no crank, I notice when I turn the key ALL the dash light stay on, dont really dim much but I hear a CLICK coming from what sounds like the center of the dash (behind the radio area). Is there a relay back there that could be bad?
Thanks guys!

Jump the starter out to see if you have a bad starter just use i piece of wire from the power to the signal terminal on the starter, and the grounds are on the transmission, valve cover, and thermostat housing.
