Default new dood with a 89 hatch!

hey guys, im josh, no clue if we even have a new members thread place thingy but im just gunna do an intro/ make this my build thread haha....

its a 89 civic si






thought this was kinda funny... Canadian eh?

currently running the following...

rebuilt d16
full tanabe exhaust
msd ignition
and some stickers..

plans include!

intake asap!
fixing body imperfections and cleaning up the inside,
skunk 2 coilovers
and some sweet rims yo!(prob steelies of some sort)

and no im not the dood in the pic!

Fixed the firing order and yanked the gas tank out so I can get to the busted feul pump just need to put it back together!


Also windexed the windows...

wow that's a TON of rust... might be easier to swap the roof to a non si car, although i am by no means of telling you not to dive ballz deep into this thing.

project looks good, although i predict lots of distractions in the works

seeing that it was driven in canada, i also wouldnt put too much into this car either. im sure ull be able to find a better hatch. you could use that as a parts car... for what little parts remain.

Thanks for the congrats and all the rust is on the kick panels the stuff on the inside is all dirt the dood* b4 me ran it into a creek and it just needs cleaning, and as for the rust I've done a lot of bodywork Ima just sand everything down to metal cut the rust out and welding new panels and body filler the rest .

You guys know that USDM EF's were built in Canada, right?

Not sure if they ALL were built in Canada, but all the ones I've come across (here in Texas) were.

its made in canada and all it looks like it needs is interior.thats like what 200 at most
and i dnt see rust on the roof like whats his name said

Yeah the electrical does work still and the only rust is on the kick panels on the outside but anyways ill have more done tomorrow so ill get someone pics up

Cleaned the rest of the car and reinstalled the front carpet and seats today





Should be getting the new gas tank and feul pump tomorrow

took the tires off today not much but come tomorrow new tank and pump and possibly lip kit
